FAST RISING SINGER/SONG WRITER, DAFINA KASTRATI RELEASES HER NEW SINGLE "RUNNING"

Let me introduce a singer, song writer with a difference, Dafina Kastrati. Her new single "RUNNING“, is already winning hearts all over the world.

This year so far has been marked by patience and isolation, but the spirited and exceptional singer has her own way of dealing with it the Coronavirus pandemic.

With her unmistakable voice, the young singer-songwriter appeals to our inner strength in times of the Coronavirus pandemic which is what her track, "RUNNING" is about.

A song is an empowering track about willpower and hope. The video for "RUNNING“ premiered on Friday, 24 April 2020.

In 2017 Dafina reached third place in the MTV Swiss video charts with her debut single "Shot Calling“, in 2019 she successfully completed her studies of architecture and currently she is working on her first EP which is due in 2020.

BACKGROUND OF HOW DAFINA STARTED:

At the age of 5, when most children only think about tea parties and the play ground, Dafina already knew that her destiny was to be a singer.

To sit at the piano and sing was the most beautiful feeling in the world for her.

From an early age she took classical singing lessons and attended ballet and hip-hop dance classes.

She had her first on-stage experience in musicals such as “Mary Poppins” and “The Lion King”, and as a member of the gospel choir “Harlem Praise Family”. From then on, her passion for music was born.

The exceptionally talented young woman, who has roots in Kosovo, Germany and Nigeria, is currently working on her first EP, which she creates with her brother, Rinor, a DJ and producer.

The musical siblings have been working together on their dream since they were little. Music and melodies are part of their everyday life.

After the success of past singles they wrote and produced together, they now want to continue on this wave with the new EP.

The songs are rooted in pop, but also contain influences of hip-hop, funk and soul.

Dafina's impressive career not only includes her love for music. Being passionate about architecture, Dafina, who is 22 years, started studying architecture and successfully completed her studies in 2019.

This was a promise she made to her father.

Now the exotic singer, whose grandfather was a tribal king in Nigeria, is ready to take over the sceptre she was endowed with from birth and lead the music charts.

The talented singer is ready to put her deep, raspy voice out into the world again and follow up on the success of past chart entries.
